Chimney Restoration & Repointing

For this large chimney, Crose & Lemke was able to find replacement bricks in our inventory and repoint the chimney, bringing much-needed beauty back to this 1960’s house.

The chimney was originally made of old paver brick. It also featured wide joints, making a seamless transition to the new mortar even more of a challenge.

Restoration work on this chimney was completed in under a week.

While we replaced some fractured brick, a majority of the work involved grinding out every joint and then matching mortar color and textures to make the change imperceptible.
